Sebechleby
A
village lying on the foothill of Sitno and Štiavnické mountains. This area
has an excellent
location and suitable conditions for growing of crops, fruits and wine
grapes. The village is
important area among 8 vineyard's areas in Slovakia. In 16-th and 17-th
century destroyed
several times during turkish incrusions. A story „Sebechlebskí hudci (Musicians
from
Sebechleby)“ dates back to this period. Not far away from the settlement
there are
vineyards. To their patron St. Urban is dedicated a small chapel in the
middle of Stara Hora. A
similar settlement named Mlada hora is 2 km away from there.
On the way there you can enjoy swimming and fishing in reservoir.
